The project was born from an analysis on cultural boundaries. More and more in our society we are confronted with foreigners and new cultures. Hence new mental logics that often lead to incomprehension, where contact with the different is seen as a fear thus becoming a limit. The word boundary does not necessarily promote a distinctive separation, but also an interface area where meetings, interactions and exchanges take place that often lead to a fusion of cognitive horizons and daily practices. Different traditions, beliefs, cultures and lifestyles meet and inevitably engage in a peaceful or antagonistic dialogue, but which always leads to stimulating mutual knowledge and familiarity, and potentially understanding, respect and solidarity. With our project we have therefore decided to investigate and work on this area, trying to insert a group of users within an experience, where through interaction and performance we try to stimulate a reflection on the theme of the different and a sense of respect and tolerance. The language adopted is that of religion, a language which often, misunderstood, has led to fragmentation of our society. The aim of the project is to demonstrate how the various beliefs and customs, however different in their writings and gestures, all start from a common thought, of norms and teachings that firstly seek to respond to the need to create a civil sense of solidarity, good coexistence and mutual respect within a community. Mutual knowledge will therefore be able to generate new interfaces, spaces and horizons where the largest of the "faiths", respect, will belong to the individual.

The music was made by stretching and manipulating a Gregorian chant ("O Euchari", Hildegard of Bingen) to recall the meditative sounds typical of many religious rituals, while alienating their original meaning thanks to the sound treatment.
